Normally when you see a photograph of yourself as a child you bask in the "good ole days and great memories." However, when I saw this photo that was not my initial feeling. I put those feelings on the back burner until this morning when I was actually able to use this photo to teach them more about who I am and why I do what I do. Not all photos bring us joy, sometimes they bring us pain and pain is okay as long as you're growing.
